VERIFIED PRODUCT SCOPE
Verified service scope and limits
This page separates the capabilities verified in the reference Community deployment from services that require a separate license, implementation, or written operating scope.
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Included software capabilities
- Branded login, application shell, email identity, favicon, and one global brand per deployment.
- Private client workspaces and projects with available workspace and project roles.
- Work items with Kanban, standard states, owners, labels, priorities, due dates, comments, activity, files, and image previews.
- Project Pages, available saved views, and Analytics where enabled in the deployed Community version.
- Responsive browser access on desktop and mobile.
- Scoped Trello migration for reviewed boards, cards, lists, labels, members, comments, and supported image attachments.
Unlimited by software license
Plane Community does not impose a software-license cap on users or projects, so WhiteLabel does not charge a per-seat Community software fee. Practical capacity and managed-service scope are not unlimited. They depend on infrastructure, storage, traffic, email, backups, integrations, support, and fair use.
Verified reference defaults
- Plane Community Edition v1.3.1 in the audited reference deployment.
- 100 MB configured upload limit per file.
- 60-day configured session lifetime.
- Kanban as the primary client-facing work-item view.
- No configured LLM or general-purpose AI feature.
Separately scoped services
- Managed hosting, server sizing, storage, upgrades, backup schedule, restore tests, monitoring, and incident response.
- Custom domains, email delivery, imports beyond verified Trello scope, API work, webhooks, forms, and custom automation.
- Training, support response targets, data exports, retention, and offboarding assistance.
- A separate brand or domain per client, which normally requires a separate deployment or custom implementation.
Not included in the standard Community deployment
- Commercial workflow enforcement, approval gates, SSO, SCIM, LDAP, custom roles, or enterprise audit controls.
- Native iOS or Android applications branded as WhiteLabel.
- General-purpose AI agents, an LLM, a marketplace, or unreviewed native integrations.
- Formal compliance certifications, uptime guarantees, automatic backups, or 24/7 support.
Production access and disclosure controls
The audited reference deployment is invite-only: public signup and unrestricted workspace creation are disabled, product telemetry is disabled, and a versioned corresponding-source archive is publicly available. Backup, monitoring, support, migration, and infrastructure commitments still apply only when they are implemented and written into the signed customer scope.
